Silk’n Revit Mictodermabrasion Review

If you are tired of covering up the imperfections on your face, it might be a better idea to start fixing the problems. If your facial skin is affected by acne scars and dark spots, if you’ve started noticing the first signs of aging or just want to improve your skin complexion, there’s a simple way to change that.

The technique is called microdermabrasion (MDA) and it combines deep skin peeling and strong vacuum cleansing. By removing the dead cells from your superficial skin layer, along with contaminants, makeup residue, and sebum, you uncover a healthier, brighter-looking skin.

Not long ago, this technique was only available at professional salons and only licensed skin practitioners were allowed to perform it.

Luckily, as technology advances, there are simplified versions of the machines, used in aesthetic salons. What is more, these MDA devices often cost as much as a single session at a salon.

This review is about Silk’n Revit – one of the most wanted home microderm machines on the market. For less than $100, you’ll get the quality of the professional salon procedures and you can use this convenient machine for unlimited sessions.

Silk’n Revit: What you’ll get?

Silk'n Revit Set

With your Silk’n Revit handheld MDA machine, you get 3 diamond exfoliations tips with a different coarseness. Your microderm kit will come packed in a luxury zip bag.

Silk'n Revit luxury zip bag

You’ll also get a bag of filters that are used to capture all the dead skin and contaminants to unlock your pores and give you a fresh appearance. When you first use Silk’n Revit and open the device, you’ll see the filter covered in an unpleasantly looking mixture of dead skin cells, sebum, and dirt. This is what clogs your pores.

Note that this is a corded machine, you’ll need an outlet and a mirror in order to perform your beauty procedure!

Silk’n Revit: Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Easy to use, portable handheld microdermabrasion system
  • Offers fine, precision and coarse exfoliation, suitable for the entire face
  • This item is returnable, so you can get your money back if you are not happy with the product received
  • The vacuum stimulation is strong enough to boost blood circulation in the deeper skin layers
  • Affordable price (plus luxury zip bad for free)

Cons

  • The exfoliation and suction features are not as powerful as in professional salons

Silk’n Revit: Cleaning and maintenance

After finishing your microdermabrasion procedure, just take the dirty filter out (throw it away) and replace it with a new one. Clean the diamond tip used with an alcohol-based wipe to make sure your microderm machine is ready for your next procedure.

Silk’n Revit: User reviews

Most people who left a comment are very happy with their purchase. Many share that the affordable price was the main reason to buy Silk’n Revit. Others decided that it would be a good substitute for the salon procedures.

A lady shared her improvement after only 5 uses.

This device is not only helping as a healthy substitute to that habit [picking at my pores], but also repairing my skin’s rough texture.

skin tone and texture improvement

Another one says she recommended Silk’n Revit to her friends. She has her machine for about 3 months now but she became addicted to the effect of microdermabrasion.

You will see the results when you remove the tip…….its kind of gross but it makes me realize all that nasty stuff just came off my face.

dead skin cells and dirt in filter

The images below show the results after the 2nd use of the microdermabrasion machine. The lady shares she notices some redness right after the procedure but is indeed satisfied with the results so far.

2nd day of use my face looks reddish but some of the dark spot were gone. Also it feels so soft and smooth.

Softer and smoother skin texture

A lady started her review by explaining that consumers should have to have the right expectations when purchasing this product. According to her, it doesn’t provide spa-quality microdermabrasion like the one is professional salons, yet it performs fairly well for half the price of a single session at a salon. She believes it might take longer for your skin to recover from the imperfections, but eventually, you’ll get there!

Set realistic expectations for how long it’ll take! Combine this with some serums and moisturizers and I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite at home beauty treatments!

As with any other product, Silk’n Revit is not good enough for everyone.

The below comment is written by someone who considers the suction power of the MDA machine not strong enough.

Not enough suction to be effective. Returned for refund.

Silk’n Revit Conclusion

Silk’n Revit is a home microdermabrasion device, recommended for those of you who have realistic, not drastic expectations. For those that won’t expect to look 10+ years younger after their 3rd procedure or want to dramatically change their skin color.

The simple truth is that this MDA unit will help you decrease skin imperfections gradually, with regular use. If you are patient and persistent enough, the results will come within weeks.
