While Seth Rogen is primarily known for being a stoner with a memorable laugh in Judd Apatow movies, these days he’s doing at least as much producing as he is acting, with five of his current and upcoming production projects being rooted in comic book origins. And so Rogen has opinions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which he spoke about in a new interview with Total Film Magazine.
“I think that Kevin Feige is a brilliant guy, and I think a lot of the filmmakers he’s hired to make these movies are great filmmakers,” Rogen said. “But as someone who doesn’t have children… it is [all] kind of geared toward kids, you know? There are times where I will forget. I’ll watch one of these things, as an adult with no kids, and be like, ‘Oh, this is just not for me.'”
Rogen’s assertion about the intended demographic for Marvel movies is perhaps painting with too broad a brush. Marvel movies are aimed at the largest possible audience, and kids just happen to be a part of that;…

In a statement, NZ Post boss Antony Harris said the original run of stamps 20 years ago proved to be immensely popular, so the organization is circling back with a new run of stamps to celebrate the anniversary. “NZ Post was very proud to support the original film project by producing a set of stamps at the time. NZ Post collaborated with local artist Sacha Lees on the stamps. Lees worked on the Lord of the Rings movies and was commissioned to create the original run of stamps 20 years ago.
“Be it commercial or fine art, I’m driven by the process of creating–the discovery through research, the problem-solving journey to visually express complex narratives and ultimately the meditative practice in the realisation of an idea,” Lees said.

Read moreLG’s latest TV revealed at CES 2023 isn’t just a slim 97-inch wide slab of OLED technology, it’s also a piece of hardware that is ditching cables behind for a wireless approach. The OLED screen retains all of LG’s excellent picture quality, but all the data and video that it displays is beamed directly to it from a wireless transmitter box. You’ll still need a power supply for the LG M3, but you won’t have to worry about a rat’s nest of cables behind your TV.
That box contains all the standard input ports that you’d find at the back of a typical TV, and sends video and audio signals wirelessly to the LG M3. The company says that the box is capable of real-time video and audio transmission at up to 4K 120Hz and is designed to create a cleaner and distraction-free viewing environment for users. To ensure zero lag, LG says that it has developed an algorithm that instantly identifies the optimal transmission path.
The box can be located up to 30 feet away from the TV, and co…
